West Point cadet faces drug charges

WEST POINT - A cadet at the U.S. Military Academy is facing charges of conspiring to distribute cocaine and oxycodone.

Cadet Ammon Tuimaunei, of California, is a member of West Point's class of 2017 and a former member of the Army football team

Tuimaunei’s case comes four months after six cadets were charged with similar drug offenses.

Two of those accused cadets will now face military court martials.
