WEST POINT - Cadets at the U.S. Military Academy have begun carrying a part of the World Trade Center with them in honor of the 9/11 attacks.

Rings for the class of 2016 includes steel from the World Trade Center.

The tradition of melting donated class rings for use in the new rings dates back to the academy's 2001 bicentennial.
