YONKERS - A Yonkers man will spend up to six years in prison for a drunken driving crash that killed an elderly man.

Liam Perry, 23, was sentenced to two to six years behind bars after pleading guilty to manslaughter and drunken driving charges.

In August 2016, Pedro Martinez, 85, was killed when Perry drove head-on into his car at the intersection of Palmer Road and Sunnybrook Road in Yonkers.

Prosecutors say Perry had a blood alcohol level of more than three times the legal limit at the time of the collision.
