YONKERS - A Tarrytown insurance company employee has been charged with stealing from the company where she worked.

Police say Theresa Casey, 57, of Yonkers, took more than $246,000 over a three-year period.

Casey, who worked in the payroll department, was charged with grand larceny and released on $1,000 bail.

She has been fired from her job.
