Yorktown police seek driver in deadly hit-and-run on East Main Street

Friends of Turner say she parked her SUV along East Main Street during the winter months because the driveway leading up to her home frequently became very icy. (February 21, 2014 5:39 PM)

Yorktown police are looking for the driver in a hit-and-run that left 73-year-old Georgia Turner dead.

Authorities say they found Turner at about 6 p.m. yesterday near the driveway of her home on East Main Street. They say Turner was then taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
