Police and prosecutors have remained tight-lipped about an alleged killer's motive in the slaying of a Suffern teacher.
Eric Lau has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of gym teacher Jami Erlich, who was found beaten and stabbed to death Nov. 29.
Erlich's neighbors say they to continue to stop by and pay their respects at her apartment and say they are hoping for a speedy trial.
