Nonprofit 'Yo digo No Mas' to hold fundraising gala with the aim of preventing childhood sex abuse

A Westchester woman who is on a mission to prevent childhood sex abuse is reaching out to the community for support this week.
Maria Trusa, the founder of Yo digo No Mas, translated to I say No More, is staging the nonprofit organization's first fundraising gala this Wednesday night in White Plains.
Trusa, who is a sex abuse survivor, says she created the group to work with local school districts to raise awareness, education and foster healing for the youngest victims of sex abuse.
The event will be held at the CV Rich Mansion from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. News 12's senior investigative reporter Tara Rosenblum will be master of ceremonies.
