Nuns give pit bull new home

After spending months in a shelter, a pit bull finally has a new home with nuns.

Sisters of Our Lady of Christian Doctrine adopted the 9-year-old dog named Remi.

NYACK - After spending months in a shelter, a pit bull finally has a new home with nuns.

Three nuns from Sisters of Our Lady of Christian Doctrine adopted the 9-year-old dog named Remi from Hi Tor Animal Care Center.

The sisters say that they wanted to provide a home to a dog that nobody wanted.

Officials at the center say there are many more four-legged friends looking for a home.
