He says he doesn't discriminate against gays,but New York Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino alsosays he thinks young kids shouldn't be exposed to gay culture,especially at gay pride parades.
He tells NBC that people at those parades engage in "terrible"public displays.
One day after saying children shouldn't be "brainwashed" intothinking homosexuality is "acceptable," Paladino says he wouldactively recruit gays to his administration.
Mentioning his gay nephew, Paladino says the discrimination heand others face is a "very ugly experience."
