The New York Public Interest Research Group released a new list of potentially dangerous and toxic toys.
NYPIRG showed off the potentially hazardous toys Tuesday as part of its 32nd annual Trouble in Toyland survey.
Some toys on the list have already been recalled and are no longer on store shelves, but others like some water balloons and peg games, are still for sale. NYPIRG reports the balloons are easily inhaled and can become stuck in children's throats.
They can be found at Dollar Tree stores, including one in White Plains. The specific toys aren't recalled, so stores selling them aren't breaking any rules. Some items also have warning labels.
