Officials say a Pemberton man armed with a blade was shot and killed by a police officer Friday night.

Officials: Pemberton man identified in deadly police-involved shooting
Officials say a Pemberton man armed with a blade was shot and killed by a police officer Friday night.
Police have identified the man as Whitney Rivera.
MORE: Officials: 1 dead in officer-involved shooting in Pemberton
The Attorney General's office says police responded to an altercation at Rivera's home.
A state task force is investigating the incident.
