One-car accident leaves Yonkers man dead

A Yonkers man was killed in a one-car accident that took place Sunday night. The crash took place at around 8:30 p.m. in Harriman State Park. Police say the car, containing three people, flipped over.

A Yonkers man was killed in a one-car accident that took place Sunday night.
The crash took place at around 8:30 p.m. in Harriman State Park. Police say the car, containing three people, flipped over. A 21-year-old occupant became trapped and died. Investigators say he may not have been wearing a seatbelt.
The driver of the car, 33-year-old Mikhail Vladagin of Jersey City, may have been intoxicated at the time of the accident, police say. Vladagin has been charged with DWI and vehicular manslaughter. He was not injured in the crash.
There was also third passenger in the car who escaped injury.
