One more practice day until the 120th U.S. Open tees off at Winged Foot Golf Club

The world’s best golfers have one more day to prepare for Winged Foot Golf Club’s West Course.
Included in the field are top-ranked and Fed Ex Cup Champion Dustin Johnson and three-time U.S. Open Champ Tiger Woods, who missed the cut here back in 2006
Making his Winged Foot debut is last month’s PGA Championship winner rookie Collin Morikawa. “I think walking here as a major champion, you have a sense of knowing how to get things done. Yes, I've only done it once but I've done and you just want more,” says Morikawa.
2011 U.S. Open Champion Rory McIlroy is the world’s fourth ranked player. This will be his first time playing at Winged Foot and the first without spectators. “Look it's different. I wish we were playing in front of fans especially here in New York. It's a different reception than you receive most other places in the country.”
Right in front of Rory at number three is Justin Thomas. The 2017 PGA Championship winner’s best finish at a U.S. Open is ninth. He's looking forward to the challenge the West Course presents. “It's going to be such a grind. It's going to be really, really difficult but to me it's fun it's a U.S. Open. It's tough.”
Thomas, Morikawa and Tiger Woods will tee off in the same group Thursday morning at 8:07.
