Rockland County will be lit up in green for more than a week to honor veterans. 

It's called Operation Green Light, and its mission is to show support for all veterans and raise awareness for the unique challenges they face. 

Some county buildings will be lit up, but everyone can do their part to help by changing one bulb in your house to green. It will be even better if it's an outdoor light so others can see.
