Orange County officially recognizes November as 'Family Court Awareness Month'
County Executive Steve Neuhaus released a proclamation last week in support of survivors of domestic violence or post-separation abuse in their efforts to advocate for child safety over parental rights during cases in family court.

Survivors say awareness of the problems children and protective parents often face in family court is crucial.
Neuhaus says he believes in the growing, nationwide movement and that it's important to recognize the need for awareness.
