Thousands of Ossining residents are still under a boil water advisory following a water main break last week.

OSSINING - The boil water advisory that was issued for Ossining last week has been lifted.

The alert had been issued after a broken water main on Thursday night on Route 134, near Route 9A.

Repairs to the broken pipe were finished on Friday morning, but nearly 5,000 residents had been under a boil water alert through Sunday.
