Residents of one Pelham Bay community are worried about a dangerous and busy intersection.
They say the corner of Crosby and Coddington avenues is a major blind spot, and blame poor visibility for accidents and close calls in the area.
In a statement Councilman James Vacca told News 12 that Crosby Avenue often becomes a racetrack, and something needs to be done to slow the cars down.
Vacca says he informed the city's Department of Transportation of the dangerous situation, and that he is working on getting a traffic light.
The DOT says it is conducting a traffic study at the intersection. The study is scheduled to be complete sometime this summer.
