YONKERS - It took firefighters nearly an hour to put out a pesky brush fire in Yonkers overnight.

Westchester County and Yonkers police received several calls at around 2:30 a.m. today about a fire next to the Saw Mill Parkway.

Flames were actually located inside Tibbetts Brook Park, just north of the soccer field. It took crews longer than expected to douse the flames because their fire trucks ran out of water and a hydrant had to be found.

Investigators still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
