Rockland-based Pfizer and BioNTech planning to deliver two billion vaccine doses by the end of the year.

That's more than the previous goal of 1.3 billion doses and is due, in part, to a label update.

The labels initially said each vial had five doses but the company discovered each vial has six doses.

The increase also reflects process improvements and expansions at the company's production facilities.
