Two people jumped out of a window on Caldwell Avenue Friday morning to escape what police say was an apparent home invasion or a burglary attempt.
Investigators say the victims survived the fall from a second-story window at 1030 Caldwell Ave. and were taken to hospitals around 7 a.m.
The pit bull of one of the victims also jumped out or was thrown out of the window, but didn't make it. Police say the dog's collar got caught on the building during the drop.
Police say they are searching for three or four suspects in connection with the Caldwell Avenue home invasion.
