Police say that the recent murders of two Newburgh fathers were the result of home invasions.
Everton Fray, 41, who was a father of five, was shot by an intruder in his first-floor apartment on Cambers Street last week, according to investigators.
The week prior to that killing, police say Jeffrey Henry, 35, who was a father of seven, was shot just a few doors down.
Detectives are still investigating both cases and say no arrests have been made.
