Police are looking into a possible connection between three armed robberies within two days at Suffolk County 7-Eleven locations.
At a West Babylon 7-Eleven on Little East Neck Road, surveillance video shows a man jumping over the counter and grabbing items around 9:40 p.m. Sunday. Police say the robber made off with cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets.
Around 2 a.m. Sunday, police say a man held up a 7-Eleven in Islip Terrace and stole cash.
And early Saturday morning, someone hit a 7-Eleven on Broadhollow Road in Melville. Police say a man brandished what appeared to be a gun and demanded cash from an employee. The store manager says the robber stole about $1,100.
No injuries were reported in any of the robberies.
The manager of the Melville store says his surveillance cameras captured the robbery and he turned over the footage to police. He says he's adding another camera in the parking lot.
Police say they're increasing patrols at all 7-Elevens throughout Suffolk.
Anyone with information on the robberies is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
