Police are searching for a group of men who slashed a young man's neck, smashed a bottle over his head and stole his sneakers in New Rochelle early Sunday morning.
?Investigators say the victim drove himself to Montefiore Hospital and is recovering from serious injuries, including cuts to the neck.
The Adidas sneakers cost about $200, police say.
Police have not yet released a description of the attackers, or how many were involved.
