Police: Biker killed in Sloatsburg crash

Police say a man riding a motorcycle in Sloatsburg was killed after smashing into a car this afternoon.According to investigators, a 49-year-old man was traveling northbound on Route 17 by Sterling Mine

Police: Biker killed in Sloatsburg crash
Police say a man riding a motorcycle in Sloatsburg was killed after smashing into a car this afternoon.According to investigators, a 49-year-old man was traveling northbound on Route 17 by Sterling Mine Road just after 3 p.m. when a car pulled over in front of him, causing him to broadside it.Paramedics who arrived on the scene attempted to revive the victim en route to Good Samaritan Hospital. The man died at the hospital shortly after. Route 17 was closed in both directions while police investigated the crash.It remains unknown if the driver of the car that was broadsided by the bike will face any charges.
