Clarkstown police say one person is injured after a car was hit by a train in West Nyack Saturday morning.
It happened on Pineview Road and Western Highway.
Officials tell News 12 Westchester that one car was involved and one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Pineview Road railroad crossing has caused concern in the past. As News 12 has previously reported, the railroad corporation wanted to close the crossing allegedly because it's not up to safety standards.
People living in the area say they will be left stranded if the crossing were to close.
