Police swarmed Warwick High School Tuesday after students? antics got out of control.
According to police, students were throwing food, flipping tables and chairs and garbage cans were thrown when they got to the campus on Sanfordville Road. Police arrested four students for disorderly conduct, but that didn't stop the chaos. Food fights went on throughout the day with students even throwing yogurts directly at police officers and school officials. The situation got so volatile that Warwick police called state police for assistance and students were finally let out for the day.
School officials say teens blowing off steam at the end of the year don?t consider the ramifications of their actions. The four students arrested were given appearance tickets and released to their parents.
