A fire at a residence on the Clinton property in Chappaqua was knocked down by responding firefighters Tuesday afternoon, New Castle police say.
The fire occurred at 15 Old House Lane.
New Castle police confirmed that the fire was called in at 2:51 p.m. They say fire crews were able to put it out about 25 minutes later.
Authorities say there were no injuries.
They didn't release any details surrounding how the fire was sparked.
Hillary Clinton’s communications director Nick Merrill posted on Twitter in response to another news story that said “a small fire broke out" at the Secret Service facility on the Clinton property.
He said that the building was not connected to the home and that the Clintons were not home at the time.
