Police are looking for a man in connection to two fatal shootings in the Soundview area.
Police say the man they are looking for is Dane Richardson. They say Richardson is known in the area.
Police released a photo of the 36-year-old and say he is part of a gang wanted for two recent homicides.
This past Sunday, police say the two brothers were standing outside their home on Randall Avenue when shots struck 19-year-old Stephon Brown and his 21-year-old brother.
Stephon Brown later died at a local hospital. The motive behind the shooting is still under investigation.
Police say back in August, 26-year-old Nestor Ventura was fatally shot in the courtyard of an apartment complex on Commonwealth Avenue in Clason Point. They say it happened around 4 a.m. and that the shooting happened during an argument.
Richardson is known to the authorities, and they say he has a long criminal history. Detectives say he may be out of New York City at this time.
