Police: Man shot in leg as violent Labor Day weekend continues
A man was shot in the leg in a shooting at Dunbar and Saw Mill River Road, according to Yonkers police.

9h agoA man was shot in the leg in a shooting at Dunbar and Saw Mill River Road, according to Yonkers police.
Police say that it happened Sunday night. The victim was taken to the hospital for injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
It is the latest incident in what was a violent weekend in the city over the holiday weekend.
Police are also investigating two stabbings that happened in the city Saturday night. One happened on Elliot Avenue and Post Street.
The second happened on Park Hill Avenue and School Street.
Police say that there is no reason to believe that the two stabbings are connected and that they know who the perpetrator is.
