Police say three people were caught on camera stealing packages from Valley Stream porches earlier this week.

Officials released photos and surveillance video of the men they say stole multiple packages from the front stoops of homes on North Grove Street and West Dover Street on Thursday at around 1 p.m.

Homeowner Paul Toscano says he can't believe how brazen it was.

"...in the afternoon. In broad daylight. They just opened up the doors, ran out, grabbed the package, not thinking people had cameras around," he says. 

Toscano said police found one package.

"It was a few blocks down. I guess the thieves didn't like the contents," he says.

That package happened to be medication.

Catalina Fernandez says her packages have not been returned.

"Give them some time in jail cause that's what they deserve,” says Fernandez. "You don't do that. We work hard and we buy our stuff and for someone to come by and steal it... that's not right."
