Police probe another drowning in Warwick
Police are investigating the death of a fisherman who was found in a Warwick pond yesterday morning, less than 24 hours after another drowning in the area.
Police say the victim, an 87-year-old Warwick man, often went fishing in a privately owned pond along Brady Road.
Authorities have yet to release the man's identity, but neighbors say his name was Seymour Gordon and that he had heart problems.
On Tuesday, Luis Santander, a 24-year-old landscaper from Maryland, was found dead in his client's pool along State School Road in Warwick. Police say it appears Santander drowned while taking a swim.
An autopsy is scheduled for this morning to determine the exact cause of Santander's death.
