Rain and foggy conditions contributed to a crash that killed two women in Haverstraw early Sunday morning.
Haverstraw police say the crash happened around 1 a.m. on Beach Road. They say that the car careened off the roadway and through a fence.
Police say that there were three women in the car at the time of the crash. They say that the driver told officers that she lost control of the car and slid off the roadway. The victims were 65 and 87 years old.
The names of the women who died have not yet been released.
