Police release video from Goshen ATM scam
Police released new information and surveillance video Friday in connection with an ATM scam at the Goshen Bank of America branch.
Authorities say they are searching for the woman who was caught on video attaching a scanning device to the ATM card reader and placing a hidden camera at the machine. A total of 37 accounts were compromised, and more than $24,000 was stolen.
Police say the woman in the footage is part of an organized group that has been running ATM scams in the tri-state area since early 2009.
Bank of America says it monitor its ATMs regularly and has a variety of security measures in place.
