Police are searching for clues in a disturbing hate crime that shocked residents in Unionville.
According to police, swastikas, the ?N? word and other racial slurs were written all over the gazebo at Unionville Memorial Park in January. Police say a noose was also hanging from the gazebo. Police say they think they know who's responsible for the noose, but no names have been released.
Unionville Mayor Dick Ludwick says the crime made him sick to his stomach. Ludwick sent a letter to every home in the village to inform them of the hate messages. No arrests have been made.
