YONKERS - Police are investigating in Yonkers after they say a smoke bomb was thrown onto the roof of a building Saturday night.

It happened at around 11:30 p.m. at 1019 Yonkers Ave.

Officials say there was damage to the building, but they did find a small bomb in a can that was hot and apparently smoking for a minute or two.

Police are reviewing surveillance video from the front of the building to find out more information.
