Police say thieves have broken into more than two dozen vehicles in Stony Point, stealing thousands of dollars worth of electronics within a week.
Since last Thursday, authorities say 30 cars have been targeted. The thefts started on the north side of town and spread southward.
Police say almost all of the thefts took place late at night or early in the morning.
"The most important thing is to lock your vehicles overnight and to remove any and all valuables," says Officer Daniel Schoales, of the Stony Point Police Department.
