Poughkeepsie man sentenced to 1 1/2 to 3 years for 2022 domestic violence incident

A Poughkeepsie man will spend more than a year behind bars in connection with a domestic violence charge in 2022.  
Lorenzo Jackson, 59, was sentenced to 1 ½ to three years in prison Friday after pleading guilty to aggravated family offense.
Prosecutors say Jackson entered his child's mother's home while she had a protection order against him, and began assaulting and threatening to kill her.The conviction is Jackson's 33rd criminal conviction, including 11 priors for domestic violence crimes.
