A Poughkeepsie teenager was shot in the head Monday and later died at Vassar Hospital, police say.

The 15-year-old male was found at the intersection of Main Street and Clinton Street around 6 p.m.

The victim’s name was not released and no suspects have been identified.

The boy’s death is the city’s third fatal shooting this year and the second involving a minor.
