A 26-year-old pregnant woman who was once a reality TV star for E! turned up dead on a Highbridge sidewalk Tuesday, police say.
Lyric McHenry, 26, was found unresponsive and without pants, lying near the intersection of Undercliff Avenue and Boscobel Place with cocaine in her possession, according to police sources. She was declared dead at Bronx Lebanon Hospital.
They say it's unclear if her death was drug-related. The medical examiner has not yet determined her cause of death. Police have not ruled out foul play, although they say there were no obvious signs of trauma on her body.
Her most recent social media posts indicate she had gone to Manhattan to celebrate her birthday the night before her death.
According to published reports, McHenry once worked on the EJNYC reality show with Magic Johnson's son EJ on the E! cable network. Her Instagram account says she also worked on the Obama campaign.
