MOUNT KISCO - A parking enforcement agent has been arrested on accusations he stole revenue from Mount Kisco public parking meters.

Police say Jeffrey Daday, an 11-year employee of the Village of Mount Kisco, is facing felony charges for allegedly stealing tens of thousands of dollars in quarters from the parking meters.

Prosecutors say the 35-year-old suspect started scamming the meters back in 2000, and has collected about $89,000 since then.

News 12 has learned that Daday resigned from his job today and is due back in court tomorrow. 

If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
