Ramapo mom says her child's school is not safe
A Ramapo mom is outraged saying the Summit Park Elementary School didn't do enough to clear fallen tree branches before they reopened the school.
Danielle Widney says when she dropped her child off to school yesterday she was shocked to see lots of branches and tree limbs down on the school's front lawn and playground.
She says it posed a safety threat to the students.
School officials in Ramapo say they've had custodians at the school clearing the tree limbs for the last few days, and they will continue to check the area to make sure the grounds are safe for everyone.
