Rep. Hayworth calls debt-ceiling vote a starting point
Since the U.S. credit downgrade and the crisis on Wall Street erupted, people have been pointing fingers at their congressional representatives, wanting to know what they're doing to fix it.
Rep. Nan Hayworth (R-Mount Kisco) says she hasn't stopped working in her district as she was meeting with local farmers today in the Warwick senior center, but people unhappy with the congresswoman's debt-ceiling vote held a protest at her Somers office yesterday.
Hayworth calls her vote in favor of raising the debt ceiling a starting point, but not the ultimate answer.
