Residents in Ray Rice’s hometown react to NFL commissioner’s statement on domestic violence
Footballs fans across the country watched NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's apology on Friday, especially those in Ray Rice's hometown of New Rochelle.
Residents News 12 spoke with at New Rochelle High School's Friday night football game had mixed opinions of the commissioner's statements.
Some residents say they believe Goodell had seen the tape earlier than he revealed and should step down as commissioner.
Other residents say they were glad to see Goodell acknowledge his responsibility in how the NFL has handled domestic violence issues.
