ROAD TRIP: Connecticut bird-watchers to flock to Audubon Society's annual Birdathon

Connecticut bird-watchers are expected to flock to the Fairfield Audubon Society's annual Birdathon.
It's migration season, and officials at Audubon say the songbirds are moving north to nest. Their annual event is a great opportunity for the public to see the birds in action.
The Birdathon is a weekend of local birding.
Officials describe the Birdathon as a friendly competition to see as many species of birds as possible over three days.
The event is also a fundraiser to support bird conservation in Connecticut.
Individuals who participate will collect pledges then look for birds over the event’s three days.
The event takes place from May 13-15.
