Our very own sports anchor Pete Ruf threw out the first pitch Sunday at Palisades Credit Union Park in Pomona.
Pete didn't bring the Boulders much luck, though. The team lost to Trois Rivieres 8-5.
The loss drops the Boulders lead over Quebec Capitales in the CanAm League standings to a slim .5 game.
