Rockland drug-raid suspects arraigned in court
A dozen people arrested in yesterday's large-scale drug raid were arraigned in Rockland County court today.
Twelve of the 40 people arrested during "Operation High Rise" were arraigned on charges of selling drugs such as ecstasy, oxycodone and Percocet to undercover officers.
Police say undercover agents made more than 100 buys throughout the county, including outside the Palisades Mall in West Nyack, a McDonalds in West Haverstraw and a Pathmark in Nanuet.
Officials say the remaining suspects already charged will be arraigned in county court on Wednesday.
The group faces felony drug charges and up to nine years behind bars if convicted.
