11h agoRockland County is honoring one local woman for her service to our nation.
Dr. Abigaile Taylor is this year's recipient of the county's Freedom Award.
She served in the U.S. Army beginning as a Human Resources Clerk for about ten years.
Taylor also managed the Yellow Ribbon Program that educates, trains, and provides employment to more than 5,000 soldiers and their families.
