Rockland's top cop got quite a farewell salute yesterday as he prepares to ease into retirement.
Hundreds of police officers from throughout the Hudson Valley surprised Sheriff James Kralik with a goodbye party.
Kralik is stepping down after two decades of service in Rockland County
He offered his heartfelt thanks to his staff for all their hard work and dedication over the years.
The county's new sheriff, Louis Falco, will be sworn into office on Jan. 1.
