Routine traffic stop in Goshen nets cocaine, heroin
Police say a routine traffic stop in Goshen led officers to $20,000 worth of crack cocaine and heroin Friday.
According to police, 26-year-old Romaine Calhoun was pulled over on Route 17 with three other men in the car. Police say they found 500 decks of heroin, more than eight ounces of cocaine, a billy club and marijuana in the car. As they were arresting Calhoun, police say the three other men fled the scene. Dorian Forte, 22, and Doc Galloway, 18, were captured with the help of the Warwick Police Department K-9 unit.
The three men were arraigned on drug charges and are being held without bail. Police are still searching for 19-year-old Courtney Banks. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at 845-344-5300.
