Department of Education says the prestigous Yonkers school is one of 55 colleges currently under investigation.

YONKERS - Prestigious Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers is on a list of schools no university wants any part of.

The Department of Education released its list of the 55 colleges currently under investigation over their handling of sexual violence and harassment complaints.

The DOE won't comment on ongoing investigations, but back in September, a female student claimed she was raped in her dorm room. She then took her frustration with the investigation to the school paper.

Sarah Lawrence issued a statement saying it does not tolerate sexual harassment, and that it has a very fair and robust policy in place today to be in compliance with regulations.
